Daniel Haebich
Daniel Haebich is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. He has worked in both public and not-for-profit community mental health roles and now works full-time in private practice.
Daniel provides brief and long term psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults or young people (12-25 years of age). This creates a consistent and confidential space to explore emotional challenges, relationship patterns and personal growth.
His approach is grounded in a psychoanalytic understanding, exploring how past experience and unconscious processes shape present difficulties. He also draws on aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) when appropriate. This allows therapy to be tailored to the individual needs and goals of each person.
In addition to psychotherapy, Daniel provides clinical supervision to other practitioners. His work is guided by a commitment to create a safe and boundaried space where individuals can speak freely, gain deeper insight, and move toward lasting change.
