Fees & Rebates
​Information on session costs, Medicare rebates, and private health cover.
Consultation Fees
From 1st July 2025, the fee is $167.25 per consultation hour (50 minutes), or as otherwise negotiated during the initial session.
Medicare Rebates
You do not need a referral to make an appointment, however, to receive a Medicare rebate you will need to be referred by your GP with a Mental Health Care Plan. This entitles you to a rebate of $87.25 per session, for up to 10 sessions within a calendar year.
Private Health Insurance
You may be eligible to claim a portion of the fee through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. Please contact your health fund directly to confirm your entitlements for services provided by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
